I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks and express my great appreciation to everyone at Bill's Bay Marina. Owning my first Rinker boat is turning out to be a truly great experience. And I'm not sure how much credit I can give to Rinker Boat Company for this great experience. Don't get me wrong... the boat itself is amazing! After owning it for almost a year it still makes me grin ear to ear just by looking at it! But, what has really set the foundation for this great experience? Well, it's ALL of you wonderful people at Bill's Bay!! You simply can't put a price on customer service and relations. The way I've been taken care of since the first time I came to look at the boat last August has been absolutely 100% excellent! Any issues that I had were taken care of immediately... and professionally. You guys could sell the worst boat in the world and I would still buy one simply because I know I would be taken care of! (But please keep selling Rinker) I look forward to doing business with you for the rest of boating days! THANKS!! See you at the rendezvous! IF IT AIN'T A RINKER...IT AIN'T RIGHT! ~Greg Carroll~
Hey Kyle!
Lynn & I wanted to thank you so much for all of the time you took in driving down to the Factory & Marina with us! That was WAY above and beyond the call of duty! Well Done! We look forward to spending more time getting to know you, and most importantly, spending that time together on our new Rinker 400!! Thanks Again Buddy! ~David Mcleod~

We are so happy we have this tow insurance. What a nightmare! The 2 tow boat guys were knowledgable & professional. They towed us through 3 locks with no problems. I just wish there were tow boats further north on the Mississippi. ~Teresa Moon~

I would like to take a moment to put in a good word on Zach Paider. He has been most accommodating over the last couple of months selling us our first boat, a '94 26' Wellcraft Excel. He has a great sense of humor, my wife appreciates his honesty and she told me that she "trusted" him after our first encounter it was at that point I knew that we would buy from him and that he would do whatever he could to get us into a boat. He took the time, on his day off, to coordinate picking up our boat in Chaska and allowed for me to tag along and learn the ropes as he trailered it back. He has ALWAYS returned my phone calls and emails. I rarely am put on hold, except for that one time he had to discipline Kyle for stealing his Red Bull, he assured me that it wouldn't happen again. Seriously, I am so pleased about coming to Bill's Bay that I have told everyone I know about your service and people and I will continue to do so. You have hand picked the very best, congratulations! Good men are hard to find in this day and age. I look forward to a long and lasting relationship with you all! Very Best Wishes, Coup ~Pete Couper~
Dear Sirs at Rinker Boat Company
On October 6th, 2004 I purchased a new Rinker model 312 from Bill's Bay Marina in Red Wing, Minnesota. In the last 13 months, I purchased a 2003 Glastron GX 225 and a 2004 Crownline 270 CR. Each was traded in on a larger boat, in succession. My rating for the dealers for the prior boats would be poor and average, in order. I will spare you the details.
The purpose of the letter is twofold;
1.)Bill's Bay Marina, and sales VP Zach Paider, exceeded my expectations for this purchase by a considerable margin. Zach displayed professionalism and excellent product knowledge prior to the purchase. Paperwork and Trade-In went smoothly. It is a fact, I was all set to buy a Chaparral 290, even had the check made out. Zach talked me into driving down to Red Wing to see the Rinker 312. After going through the rinker, it was obviously my best option.
It was after the sale where things got interesting. It was just about shut down after the paperwork was done. Bill's Bay had the boat in the water, and perfectly detailed. This was done at a time when the shop had the heaviest schedule for winterization going on. Zach had a bottle of champagne, 2 glasses set up, and cold. It was a very high tone, an excellent touch. He briefly went over a few features, reserving check/ride for the following day. Imagine what a thoughtful way this was to spend the first minutes of on-water boat ownership.
For the check ride, Zach spent considerable time going over each and every detail of the boat, demonstarting various operations and docking. He went completely through the Mercury Marine checklist. The following day I took the boat out solo. My cell phone rang. It was Zach checking up on how the boat was going, how much I liked it! The next day Zach took time in the evening, when he was "off the clock" to spend further time at the boat answering questions and just getting to know my wife and I.
As the Rinker Corporation, you should be EXTREMELY proud to have a dealership such as Bill's Bay Marina and specifically, Zach Paider, representing your interests. I would add, I never met Zach before this purchase. He really knows boats and believes in the rinker product. My wife and I are not wealthy, We both work. But I doubt any mega-yacht purchaser has recieved a better new boat buying experience.
I looked at boats from Sea Ray, Chaparral, Four Winns and Formula. (I didn't bother with Bayliner and Crownline) Rinker advertising makes mention of a family operated business, without debt, a modest investment in plant structure, no corporate jet and a dedicated force of skilled craftsmen. I believe, upon consideration, you (Rinker) have thus managed to offer far more "boat" for any given price point in comparison. For this, you have my gratitude. Now that I have had some time to really "see" the boat and all its small details, I'm amazed at the level of craftsmanship. Things like caulk lines between fiberglass parts, difficult to get right, are perfect. The level of fit and finish is just plain outstanding. I don't claim to be an expert, but I do know boats. It's obvious someone at Rinker has really spent a lot of time in boats the size of the 312, and was able to translate that knowledge into design. This model gets up on plane with little fanfare or bow rise. It's a wonderful boat to both drive and overnight in. Everything works! I'm amazed.
Thank you Zach Paider
Thank you Bill's Bay Marina
Thanks to the Rinker craftsmen and women
Thanks to the Rinker corporate family
Sincerely,
James (Jake) Collins
